Dan Brady

Dan Brady explores the ways we inhabit our emotions. Certain novels, poems, or songs resonate so intensely that they form a space, a shelter to step into. His art seeks to uncover these spaces by translating them into physical form.

Our emotions have a permanence and physicality. When we dwell in them, they often feel more concrete than the floor beneath us. For a time, they become our shelter.

My work constructs and investigates the space of emotions from the narrative of others.
